Blue Cross of Sabourg

Dedicated to health and social assistance for the most vulnerable, the Blue Cross carries out solidarity missions in the Principality of Sabourg and abroad.

Part of the institutional subdivision of the Abbatial Gendarmerie, the Blue Cross of Sabourg is the concrete expression of the institution's charitable vocation. Wherever health and social distress strikes, its volunteers bring relief, regardless of origin or belief.

Driven by the spirit of brotherly love that unites the Gendarmerie, the Blue Cross places the dignity of the person at the heart of each of its actions — from first aid to lasting support for the most vulnerable.

Our missions

At the service of the most vulnerable

Health assistance

First aid, health support and a presence at events and in situations of distress. The Blue Cross acts in support of first responders and civil protection.

Social solidarity

Help for people in need, isolated or vulnerable: distributions, support and a listening ear. Close-to-home assistance for those whom life has tested.

International missions

Beyond the borders of the Principality, the Blue Cross carries out solidarity actions and cooperates with humanitarian organisations during crises and emergencies.

Our commitment

The principles of the Blue Cross

Charity

Bringing relief out of love for one's neighbour, freely and without expectation of return. Charity is the Blue Cross's first reason for being.

Dignity

Serving every person with respect, regardless of origin, condition or belief. The dignity of the human being guides all our actions.
